SMALL MUKHALINGA

In Hindu iconography, ‘mukhalinga’ (literally "linga with a face"), is a linga cover with one or more faces, traditionally made of lost-wax casting metal representing the face of Shiva.

The term 'linga' refers to an emblematic symbol of the cult of Shiva, a sacred egg or a phallic-shaped object that represents creation and the male sex.

Mukhalingas are placed on top of the linga to cover it and preserve its vibrations and power.
